A Nature Walk in June

This morning I got out my basket and went for a walk along the lake to gather wildflowers. Some of the dandelions had gone to seed. Aren't they beautiful?

I spotted some friends in the trees. Click on the pictures to see them larger.

And then that cheeky fox ran out of the woods in front of me. I managed to capture a few photos.

I love the cottonwood catkins hanging down amongst the leaves. They remind of tropical plants.
 Beautiful Striped Coralroot Orchid.
I hope you are having a pleasant Sunday!
