Well, here it is. The American Flag pattern.American Flag Pattern
You need: light fingering yarn in red, white and blue and3.5mm needles
Gauge: 7 stitches = 1inch worked in stockinette stitch
Cast on 20 stitches in red. Work the pattern in stockinette stitch, as given below from the bottom up, binding off in the same colours as the pattern. Weave in ends. Block and tie multiple flags together to create a garland. Hang it up and celebrate!

thanks!! but you might want to rethink how you are hanging the flag. the blue field should be on the the right. or you could say the left as you are looking at it. Just saying......
